horible noise
my mini has started to make a horible grinding noise from the passenger side hub and it is harder to turn than normal i have taken the breake pads out to check if there was any stones behind them and they are fine so i think it must be the bearing is this the right thing to think or not

Re: horible noise
Tim,
It certainly sounds like a bearing. Are you running wide wheels as these put extra loading on the bearings. I had a 13inch Sportspack years ago and both rear bearings went about the same time. It's a horrible grating sound alright.

Re: horible noise
Tim didnt you just put a big 1380 in your mini latle if so you can expect quite a bit of this kind of stuf the big motors have a handy nack of finding weak components, It sounds very much like a wheel bearing there cheep as chips but a pain in the but to replace
Re: horible noise
yes i was thinking the engine would have had somthing to do with it thanks and yes the mini has 13X7 revos on it so that probably didnt help
