Yep will be sticking with the same colour, will probably keep the roof checkered but have not fully decided yet. Might change to 10's and get new panels on the front. The 13's are earmarked for another project.

So tome for another update. Replaced the above panel.
Also found that the drivers side mount between the front subframe and wheel well was knackered and passenger side wasn't far behind. These were only a few of the origional parts put back on so replaced these with solid mounts. Also patched up the drivers and passengers footwells and wired up the speakers for the stereo. Just need to throw the interior back together and refit the rear quarter panel window for the pe MtM run on Sunday so all is looking good. Cb radio is also wired up so just need to test this out.

Have a few pics of the above progress and will post in the next few days

Random question. I know it's an old post but do you still own it. My mam owned the car years ago

Hi John, sorry only seeing your post now. Yes I still own it, I have it stored away at the moment until I get some more time to be able to get back at it. When did your mum own it?

The log book is in my folks house. I'll have a look through it when all this pandemic stuff is over. Your mum didn't live in Malahide at the time did she? I got the Mini off my sister who had previously picked it up there. I remember my dad had to tow it because the bell housing at flywheel were off it
