Irish Mini Owners Club

Hi all. I've spoken to a number of ye over the past few weeks and people have expressed an interest in still having a camping weekend this year. This evening I called to a local camping site with all the facilities, power, showers/ toilet and also have kids activities on site like kayaking/ archery/ high ropes etc (at extra costs). They have an area where we could set up our event shelters and have the Craic. We won't be doing a bbq or anything like that just been a meet and greet weekend. I would arrange a road run for the Saturday along the wexford coast up to the hook. The site in located in Tagoat in Wexford. The price would be €30 per night for a family of 4 in a tent or puck. The only thing is it would have to be booked early next weekend. What's people thoughts please.

Hi just to give everyone an update. We are now booked into the campsite. They will keep 30 spots together if we need more that's no problem. I have got a discount from €30 a night down to €25. So a family of 4 with electricity for 2 nights is €58. Each family may now ring the site and pay your deposit as it is a proper campsite. The number is 0539189022. It's booked under imoc or my name. Please contact them before next Friday and pre book your pitch because otherwise the site may be full. Thanks

Just checking, will there be any Rocker racing on the weekend?

No rocker cover racing. A relaxing weekend is all. Few drinks and good company

Safe journey to anyone travelling down tomorrow. Any problems contact me. To find the campsite keep heading towards rosslare harbour. Drive through tagoat village and about 300 yards outside on the left the entrance is there for the camp site

Great weekend, JP and fair play for organising it.

The IOAC venue was excellent with spotless toilets, showers, washing facilities, electrical hook-up and supervised activities for the kids. Well worth trying out for anyone camping in the south-east.

It's got great potential for next year's camping weekend and as it's only 10 minutes from Rosslare, there's even the possibility of inviting clubs from Wales. It would certainly get my vote.
