Hi all,

Does anybody have any experience in importing a vintige mini from the UK this year with Brexit.

I’m looking at a 1980 project car which will need a lot of work. according to the revenue the car is worth €10000 and I would have to pay 23% VAT. €2300. They don’t seem to take into consideration the condition of the car.

Any suggestion on a way to be able to reduce the VAT bill?

If you can prove the car was imported before January then it is only €200. Otherwise there isn't really, they just pull figures out of the sky 🙄
