Hi all, it has finally happening!!!!!
The New Irish Mini Owners Club is moving soon. As part of the website upgrade, we are moving to a new host provider. A lot of work and time has gone into designing the new website. The Committee hopes you will enjoy the new look and features. Please take the time to read the below information.
Website:
As well as getting a new makeover, we have added new and improved features to the website. Some of the new features will not be available straight away. Below are some of the new upgrades and features
1: Updated gallery
2 Updated events listings
3: Updated merchandise page
4: Updated downloads page
5: Members login (Paid members only) – In this section members will be able to update the own membership details. Upload photos into the gallery. Create the own person gallery. Subscribe to our text message and email groups and many more features. This section will be available within the next few weeks.
6: Social media share buttons. If you like the new website or pages in it, you will be able to share them on any social media platform.
7: Custom welcome. Once the Members section goes live, the website will display custom messages for you and display any of your uploaded photos home page.
8: PayPal – We will be enabling PayPal on the website for any one to join or renewal their membership with the Irish Mini Owners Club. We will also be using PayPal to accept payments for events (like MTM) and merchandise. This will be available in the coming weeks.
9: Mobile version of the website - in the next couple of weeks the mobile version of the website will go live. We are hoping to have an "upload photos" feature. This will allow you to upload photos into the galleries.
There are many more features coming over the next few months.
Forum:
As well as getting a makeover, the forum will now display photos and reminders. For any one who uses the “remember me” feature on the forum. You will be required to reselect this on the new forum. So, if you aren’t sure of your password. Make sure to reset it within the next 2 weeks. Don’t worry if you don’t get a chance you will still be able to do it on the new forum.
Some other update:
We have upgraded our new text message system. So, in the coming days any one who is on the regional text message group will receive messages from this new service. You will not be able to reply to the messages and you won’t see a phone number. The text message name (the from name) will be displayed as “irishminis.ie”. This new feature will allow use to send more messages more often.
A day before we switch over to the new website. The Forum will be disabled to allow the copying of information to the new forum. You will still be able to access the new website by using the current web address http://www.irishminis.ie
