hi all,
I am thinking of going to look at a 1963 van for sale on Donedeal.
https://www.donedeal.ie/vintagecars-for ... 3/21192770
Been told is a very rare model as it has a smooth roof and has the orignal engine and logbook.
It still needs to be finished but told all the parts are there.
anybody already seen it or can advise?
Thanks in advance
Robin

Re: mini van for sale - need advise
The only thing I can see that looks out of place is the pedals. They are larger and drilled, usually associated with racing but the floor starter wouldn't ,there is also an after market steering wheel. The floor pan appears to have a weld seam along the tunnel but I would expect any mini of that year to have at least the front floors and sills replaced already ( check how well they were done). It appears to have the original grill ( many were cut out for easy maintanance and replaced with a screw on one) but the hole for the indicator is a curious one.
Worth a look I would think.

Would somebody have cut out the original indicator holes to fit Hornet / Elf style indicators?
