Duckhams Q20-50, oil has to do gearbox also,so lighter oil is no good.

Have to get it in put plastic cover over door tonight to keep rain from blowing in, was pitch black inside. Have lectric in small shed at end of house should not be any trouble to run wire from one to other. Have son working in electrical wholesaler, so will get some sockets and lights next week hop...

Had concrete in a while now forget what it cost as i used about a third of it repairing drive. Timber for walls 4*2 treated + shiplap treated cost 630 euro. Screws 60 euro. Timber for roof 3 quarter ply + some more 4*2 130 euro. Have not got price for felt or downpipes yet,expect around 250 euro. Al...

Adjuster was oiled for last few weeks, tried blow torch today and happy days it came free.
Save a lot of work changing back plate.

Sorry could not make it today, first fishing competition of the year.
A few minis there that i did not see before.Typical March weather, seems to be the same all over the country.

Was that clip just before malin on the friday night.

Just looked up mini spares web page turns out from 1990 on front knuckles are longer for extra ride height.
Doh had wrong knuckles.Back to the drawing board.
By the way does anybody have handy way to free rear brake adjuster.

Did anybody ever come across shorter front cones with taller knuckle joints on them. Fitted new knuckles to a car and car was not any higher than when i started, on inspection i noticed above problem. Took them off again and put washers on knuckles to make up height, slight improvement but still not...

Not to hard to do just takes a bit of time and patience.
If you are getting a new rubber seal get the wider one piece one.
I got the one you had to cut and join once and had to replace it again, as i could not get the join to seal.

I thought all minis were supposed to leak from some where.

Standard fuse box usually works fine once fuses are good and tight in clips and terminals are clean.
Sometimes the spade connectors going in at the sides get loose and need a pinch with pliers.
There are 2 other fuses in the loom under the bonnet, in where the washer bottle is near the wiper motor.

Saw mini in limerick yesterday, white with pictures advertising costume shop in shannon.

Flares are gone, hair is going, rally jacket is gone, but have all the badges off of it here still.
Castrol, Cibie, Leyland,Spax,Goodyear,Dunlop,they are a bit faded now just like me.

Looking at photos reminded me of ones i took about 30 years ago of a mini i had at the time.
Scanned them in but do not know how good they will turn out.
