MTM PETROL

Did anybody keep a note of how much they spent on petrol on MTM, for the whole journey up and down or down and up as the case may be.I spent app 110 euro by the time i got home. :?:

Check pistons in carbs may be stuck.
Could have dirt in jets.
Did you change leads could be faulty.
You could check compression also.

Managed to get hole blocked tonight after trying different washers, will keep an eye on it for leaks.Got the brakes bled and put wheels back on, took for small drive. Fingers crossed all seems fine car looks like off roader sitting so high compared to what it was like.Hope all work was worth it and ...

Have these calipers myself for last few years never thought to look at nipples, spent all night tonight boring out old nipple and fixing hole.Never realised how hard metal in nipples is, spent most of night resharpening bits, when i had hole retreaded could not get out last tapered bit of nipple.Whi...

Managed to cut pieces off shields and fit them back on, seem to be grand for now never had any trouble with them before.

Did anybody ever leave these off there cars.Am putting on metro 4 pot calipers, will have to cut shields to make them fit was thinking of leaving them off.

Have the aluminium cone out just trying to extract rubber donut out of subframe, seems to big to remove without taking off top arm.

FRONT SUSPENSION

Is it possible to get out front suspension rubbers without taking off top swinging arm.Have done it myself years ago, but tried tonight and do not seem to be able to remove them.Is it possible that there are slightly wider ones or are they all the same.

I thought it was possible too fit metro 4 pot calipers and vented discs under 12 inch wheels. :?:
I read in magazine lately that it was not possible does anybody know for sure.

I am going to chance putting it up in front garden as i have no back, I have the concrete done allready.If i had a back i would build it myself, might still do it myself if i can source proper sheeting so that it will look proper.I am in a corner house with a triangular shaper garden in front.

Garage

Am looking for garage to put mini in,want one 11 foot deep and 10 foot wide, did any body ever get one made this size.I have looked at a few places but they only want to do standard sizes.Need double doors on it 6 foot wide hanging from left side of front as you face it.
