Billy is the alzheimer's setting in already, sure didn't you work on the drop nose yourself only last month. You robbed its alternator for the Marcos , a job made easier by the lower leading edge of the engine bay.

Thought about calling in the troops but the car is 6'4" in a garage 7'8" and theres only room for one in the engine bay so whats the point.
Don't worry though you can still come and help on the Hornet for mtm, Chinese and Indian both very good in Drogheda.

Hi guys party over and nearly recovered. There are two pipes on the bottem of the air filter ,one goes to the top of the air filter and the second goes to the back of the inlet manifold. Got an invite to drive Lotus on track but since its taken 2months to get the head off I can't see me getting it back on in 3 days. Could be better than our '89 lap in minis only without the back seat passengers to scare, some people just are not used to minis and chichanes.

Went to see van in Birmingham, couldn't belive the poor condition.This van had travelled around Sweden with us in '95 but has been left sitting in grass since. Roof was rusted and I was unable to see the bottem but suspect the worst. sorry

Clutch pressure plate may have been replaced with a rally/race item. Any brand or markings on clutch, sometimes race items are colour coded red/yellow.

The Van very nearly did disintergrate save amazingly for the smooth roof and quater panels which are in excelent condition and available for sale from zakgt.

The indicators are feed through the hazard light switch, if the switch is not fully off the indicators will not work .If the switch is worn flick it on and off several times and try again.

Just incase you don't know the verto clutch puller uses metric bolts,the imperial bolts will go in but you will pull the threads out under pressure.

Always worth changing the gear select and output shaft oilseals when the engine is on the deck and the crankshaft oilseal when the clutch is out.

I agree with city if you can fit a dual system. You may need to match your rear cylinders to whichever master cylinder you use.

The IMOC accepts all Minis into the club and in fact you don't even have to own a mini to join. Be aware though that some vintage and classic shows that we attend as a club may require that only cars over a certain age may attend.
