Think tax only counts on cars registered before 1st january 1980.Still had to pay full tax on my 1980.

If you have to pull out choke to make it accelerate looks like youre carb needs cleaning, had same thing happen years ago, there was dirt in carb blocking needle at times.On opening float chamber found it to be full of bits of dirt.I had no inline fuel filter fitted. So when got dirty petrol it went...

Saw that mini on tv3 the other night think it might be the one the fellow in the merc skidded into.
He then went across the road and was lucky to stop in the ditch before he went down the hill.

Did you make sure the two knuckle joints were the same, some are bigger with a flange on them for the front of newer minis.
Found this out the hard way when fitted two rear ones to front without hilos and did not make any difference to height.

Cars look fantastic ye did us all proud, well done.

Get another timing light,sounds like timing.

Not sailing, son getting married on 7th so flying out on saturday morning to Birmingham.
