Re clutch: once you've got car running, turn off engine then put it into first. Keep your foot on the clutch. Turn on ignition. The car will jump forward but keep that foot on the clutch. The difference between the standard and ported inlet manifold

Picked up a 52mm Burlen throttle body and a ported inlet manifold recently on eBay. I had already fitted a big valve head so it made sense to improve the breathing.

Even easier. Just cross the two positive & negative on the solenoid itself with a screwdriver.

I usually fit a push button solenoid to my minis.
