Re: Rollcage & insurance
Try Autoline. They covered my 87 golf and didn't mind about mods. They also quoted me to add a 99 audi S8. They're up north so have different rules.

Re: Classic insurance on a year 2000 mini?
Was also going to suggest autoline. They were willing to add a 99 S4 to my policy along with my 87 Mark2 golf.

Re: how do i remove this???
Get yourself a six point spanner that fits it. Grind one side of the ring flat to allow the most grip on the nut. An open or adjustable will just ring that even more. Even consider a bearing puller and a flat piece of metal to hold spanner in place until the initial torque is broken.

Re: Headlight Upgrade
What I did on my mark 2 golf was to wire in relays and run the lights directly of the battery. The difference is amazing. There is no reason why the same principal couldn't be applied to the mini with a decent set of bulbs the original lights should be excellent.

Re: Seen a Mini?
In Letterkenny last week I spotted what looked like a mini with a copied roof and nicely spaced wheels. Black in colour. Looked mean.
Re: Howdy.
I'll start up a build thread soon. Let me know about windscreen. Cheers.
Re: Howdy.
I'll keep that in mind Thanks.
Where can I get a windscreen?
Where can I get a windscreen?
Re: Howdy.
Yeah I know that. I have a B16 head and manifold sourced for it. Planning on getting a watsons kit for it. Still toying with the idea of making my own. A friend has a B16 mini and I can copy his subframe if I want ad she is going in to get repaired and sprayed soon.
Howdy.
Hi all, I'm Underhauled from the banner County. I just picked up a 1985 Mayfair auto. Car is 80% dismantled at this stage and once the bodywork is up to snuff I will be installing a B18 from a Honda integra. Been a long time mission of mine and now it's going ahead. Previously I have a 20 valve turb...
