clutch

When i press in the clutch i get a rough sound, im wondering if its release bearing, or worse. there is no clutch slippage and quiet while driving , any opinions much appreciated.

That suprises me, maybe MTM was a little tough on TZA, but i might take your advice and re-adjust them and go from there. The Kerry roads were a bit shear on the down slopes giving the feeling of no stopping power.

Discs conversion

Thinking of converting to 10" discs. Is there much involved, and can i keep master cylinder original, without servo. any advice would be great.

I got 46mls to the gallon, in the Austin Seven,....This consumption almost equalled my top speed,,Ha! Ha!....

Thanks to all today, it was great craic meeting new people and enjoying the drive. I had almost a trouble free day as the speedo cable went as i passed Intel, a few minutes from home. This proves my theory that my average speed must have been 135m.p.h. and not 35m.p.h. its a rocket! to drive...ha! h...

My 1960 Austin Seven, has a silver speedo with clear needle tipped in red. Its original to the car but looks like a Morris speedo, not austin as is on the 59 Register. It could be something to do with it being assembled in Dublin CKD, Dave.
