When i press in the clutch i get a rough sound, im wondering if its release bearing, or worse. there is no clutch slippage and quiet while driving , any opinions much appreciated.

Re: Discs convertion
That suprises me, maybe MTM was a little tough on TZA, but i might take your advice and re-adjust them and go from there. The Kerry roads were a bit shear on the down slopes giving the feeling of no stopping power.

Re: Pre MTM RUN
Thanks to all today, it was great craic meeting new people and enjoying the drive. I had almost a trouble free day as the speedo cable went as i passed Intel, a few minutes from home. This proves my theory that my average speed must have been 135m.p.h. and not 35m.p.h. its a rocket! to drive...ha! h...

Re: 9th of September 1959 Austin 7 mk1 mini delux. ''IRISH BUILT
My 1960 Austin Seven, has a silver speedo with clear needle tipped in red. Its original to the car but looks like a Morris speedo, not austin as is on the 59 Register. It could be something to do with it being assembled in Dublin CKD, Dave.
