I found out recently that you're average motorfactors can get you Just about anything you want at a couple of days notice. We got loads of stuff from artane autos at grat prices.

Ive heard of people cleaning out engines with White spirit Im not sure if its just taking the mick. Id be very concerned as to how you would get all the spirits out prior to refilling the engine with standard oil.

I cannot stress how worthwhile lableing, photographing and bagging in groups realy is. I have boxes of stuff and boxes of bolts and its a nightmare to put anything back as I have through trawl through everything agan for the millionth time!!

You need to report it to your insurance company and give them the numberplate and the details of the report to the guards (who took the statement and when etc) and let them chase it up. This is the case even if you only have 3rd party cover. The insurance companies have a lot more clout then you do.

Well done on getting it pushed through, Hopefully, if this run is sucessfull, some more Classic mini endurance runs will start being organised (weather by the IMOC or elsewhere).

Thats not cool at all. Negative experiences shoud allowed to be expressed as much as posative ones. You're doing a disservice to the mini community by not allowing someone to voice bad experiences with a trader or mechanic.

Its cheapest im my experience to take a spin up to woods motors up north. Being from cork thats a bit far. I found Huddersfield spares to ship very cheaply but their stage 1 kit isnt very good. There are companies in the south but like everything here its still cheaper to order from abroad.
