It sounds like a bad connections at the fuse box. Take out the fuses one by one and clean them with sandpaper and give the fusebox a clean too

Hi it's sounds like a fuse. The alarm gives power straight to the bulbs and bypass fuses and relays.

Where are you based

You could drill the hole bigger and use a bigger washer at the back which will give you space to adjust the ride over until it's prefect.
