I have used the powerspark ignition kits in minis and a few other cars and they are reliable and very easy to fit.

The yellow and white wire should go from the coil to the starter motor solenoid.

Im 20 with a full licence and i cant get insurance for my 78 clubman.

Where are the wires for the reversing swith located because every time i put the car into reverse i can smell wires starting to burn?

I got new ngk spark plugs for my mini and the gaps on them are 8mm and there was a 6mm gap on the old ones. Which is the correct gap?

I got the belt sorted today (838mm belt). Does it make any difference to the alternator if the belt is to tight? i noticed that when the car is running if i switch the lights or heater on the revs drob a bit.
