I'll try that mite cut the wire back have fresh wire to make a goo connection see how that goes

The fuel gauge it working perfect not problems with that I'm not sure what you mean about the switch but there definitely a voltage sender in the block just to the right of it under the plugs that's what I changed and still no joy

Temp gauge not working

Hi all I've a temp gauge not working. I've earthed the sender wire and switched the car on and the needle moved straight up to hot so I changed the temp sender but still no joy
Any ideas???

You were spot on pal the cars flying done the oil in the dash pot it was clean but I say it was 10w/40 cleaned the carb and she seems to be moving now alright still think I'll stick a k&n air filter in it to let in breath that bit more .

I only recently got the engine and box put into it I'm going to try taking off the dash pot and change the oil in it what oil do u recommend to use in it I'll also get so carb cleaner and try that and see how it goes and the level of oil in it

I've checked all of them air filters clean oils clean and new plugs fitted

Car not running rite

Hi lads have a mini 1 ltr she's driving and starting and ticking over no bother but if I'm going along about 50 and put the foot there the car splutters for a few seconds before she goes and also going up a hill she splutters for that few seconds any help would be great

Well the mini is gone off to be welded now 2 new sills and door steps anyone out there no if it would pass a nct with a oil leak or should I sort it first

Hi lads just bought me first mini everything seems to be spot on but I'm looking to meet people with mini to help me out if I'm stuck or have problems I need to send it in for a nct soon also and help from another mini lover would be great
