I don't have a lathe but my comment was not intended to be abusive I was admiring yours. As an engineer with an interest in these things I was asking how long the frame was, chuck diameter distance between centres that sort of thing.

Noone will give you dimensions. You'll have to custom make the frame to suit your car on the day. There are reams of pages of examples out there but not a measuring tape anywhere. Try autoline up north. I had my mark two golf and they were willing to add an Audi S4 to my policy.

Worth a call and they don't frown on mods as long as they are declared it's fine.

Also worth trying autoline up north. They have a good attitude to classics and we're willing to include a 99 Audi S8 on mine two years ago.
