1994 Mini Sprite
I'm selling my Mini. It started out as a rotten and rusted Red Sprite pulled from a hedge in friends garden and after a few years of fixing up it got to the pics in the ad below. I will get interior pics and underbody pics this weekend if it's dry out. I have no idea what it's worth or how to price ...

Re: Removing the Cat on a 1994 Carb Mini
To be honest I have no idea! Never had a mini before and this wasn't running when I got it, as part of restoring it I put the stage 1 in. So I've nothing to compare to.Jknight wrote: That's exactly why I'm asking. Thinking of fitting the same to my car. Did the stage one kit make much of a difference?

Re: Seen a Mini?
Spotted two minis yesterday on my way in to work, both on the M11, First one was heading south on a trailer a white one, Second was an orange mini, beeped as I passed but don't think it was heard as I didn't even get that confused look that you get when you beep at a mini and wave from a different ...

Re: IMM 2017 Ticket Increase
For somebody not familiar with the IMM what exactly is it?
I see from the IMM site that it's a "3 day event for young and old" but is it basically a 3 day car show for Mini's?
I see you can get a ticket for Sunday, but can you go for just Saturday?
Thanks

Re: Jacking points
I'm glad this question came up, I find the front of a Mini is a nightmare to jack, especially when you're then trying to get an axle stand under there too. I've tried loads of places and still haven't found somewhere I'm happy with. Although I don't like using here and its probably not recommended, ...

Anyone have any idea how much I should be looking at to get my Mini sprayed? and any recommendations of who to do it? It's a 1994 Sprite, down to bare shell with new bonnet, wings, full front panel, sills, scuttle panel, A panels, battery box, rear valance, rear subframe mounting/kickboard thing and...

Removing Steering rack?
Car is: 1994 Sprite with front stripped, engine, and subframe removed. Question is: Can I remove my steering rack without removing the steering column and therefore avoid messing with trying to get the shear bolts out? If so, do I just pop it off at the joint? Is there anything in there I am liable ...

Aerial Options?
I’m debating about removing the aerial and filling the hole from the wing. If I do what would my options be?
Roof mounted, or one of those hidden windscreen ones, is that about it? Are the hidden windscreen ones any good?

Re: Radius Arm Questions
If you can do it, whenever suits you is fine with me, there's no hurry. Thanks!
It doesn't look as bad as the shaft to be honest.
Took the vernier to it last night and the difference around it ranges from about 20.6 to 20.8mm

Re: Radius Arm Questions
Well finally had a chance to take the shaft out, give it a clean and it looks like its had it. One side looks alright the other is pitted and has gone slightly oval. @The Marcos Graveyard are you available to do any more radius arms? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/DaveQ/Mini/IMAG10451_zpsa3b...

Radius Arm Questions
Do Radius Arms usually require rebuilding or are they generally alright? I've seen the rebuild kit on mini spares and was just wondering.
I have them removed at the moment anyway. If they should be redone, anyone know anyone around who would do the reaming?
Thanks,
Dave.
