Re: kildare run (Ruby Run) Sept 30th

Had a blast today, weather didnt dampen the spirits at all. It was a well laid out route with some nice roads. We slipped off after a mug of tea in Allenwood to watch the All-Ireland.
Thanks for a great day out
Cheers

Re: SRS Light and NCT

I was thinking that, will it pass the nct? I've all the pugs disconnected along with the battery and I just cant get the plug out of the airbag ecu. I have them all sprayed with contact cleaner as the car was lying up for years.
Any ideas how to remove the plug?

Hi all, I'm in for NCT tomorrow and the SRS light is on in my car (1998 MPI Cooper) My local garage hasnt got the software to turn it off, Is there any way of doing it myself, or is there anywhere in Meath/Dublin that could do it for me?
Thanks in Advance

Stainless Steel screws and bolts

Hi all, I'm doing a bit of painting on the mini at the moment and I'm finding alot of brackets and bolts and screws are rusting, I'm just wondering is there a kit comprising of all the screw and bolts you'd need for the grill/doors etc? I got them for my land rover a few years ago and it looked tidy...

Re: New Mini Owner!

Thanks for the warm welcome and all the replys lads. I've started to do the few oily bits first, and just ordered a Haynes manual to be on the safe side  I have a Landrover defender as a daily driver so I'm well used to getting my hands dirty and British engineering! There's a millers oil stock...

New Mini Owner!

Hi Lads, After a few months of looking i finally took the plunge and bought myself a 1998 mini cooper. It's a low milage car with a good history. It's been parked up for a while, so needs a bit of work here and there. It has a few rust spots on the door bottoms, and at the small wing panel infront o...

Cooper, JCW, Sportpack etc?

Hi Lads and lassies, Great website you have here. On my quest looking for a Mini cooper I keep coming up on a few different descriptions of the Original Mini Cooper. What are the differences between the Cooper, John Cooper special and a JCW sport special? I've seen the above advertised but cannot sp...
