Re: Not turning over - crank shaft sensor ?

Break in the loom near the ecu, had a problem with the clutch slave cylinder so when I was investigating that I must have broke the loom.

Thanks for the advice

Not turning over - crank shaft sensor ?

Have a problem with a 99 mpi in that I can't get a spark or fuel to turn over from ignition . It's making a effort to start but just won't start. Can't get a spark, fuel motor is not engaging but have tested and it's fine. Thought it might be immobiliser but after a tow it did start purely by coinci...

Re: Fuel gauge priblem

Billy,

Have you lived in Carrigaline previously?

If you did I think I may have met you a long time ago, only reason I ask is the guy I met had pretty much the same collection of Minis you have!

Re: Spare parts Cork

I am looking for a few items;

Clutch slave cylinder
Flexi pipe from master cylinder to slave cylinder
Oil dip stick
Driver side door lock mechanism

All for a 99 cooper.

If I can get these in cork it would be great if not I will order on line.

Thanks

Re: Baby seat

Found a car seat from Mothercare, maxi cosi, belt ties through the back rather than around the front so it doesn't require a lot of belt to tie.

€109.00 which is a bit expensive but it has a great fit, not that bulky either.

Baby seat

Does anyone know of a baby car seat which fits a 99 cooper?

Tried the seat from my girlfriends car but it's a bit bulky and the rear seatbelt is too short.

The seat needs to be for a baby of 18 months.

Cheers.

Hi Guys, I guess I'm the new guy.! After 15 years of wanting to own a proper mini I finally managed to buy at the weekend 99 1.3 mpi cooper. I have a "few" bob to spend on it and I am looking for some advice on sourcing decent 2nd hand or reasonable new body parts, basically all of the pan...
