I got a quote of McCarty's in castleisland to get a share of work done to the head (12g295 also) and engine (rebore, new valve guides, cam bearings, relap in larger valves, reface head and block and other bits), cant give you any prices because it was ages ago but all i know is that is wasnt too bad...

Well i was going to go with lowered shocks (damper :mrgreen: ) but i want to lowern it by good bit so that the wheel sits well up in the arch but im worried even with lower shocks im still goin to have problems with either the shocks or a bumpstop or something bottoming out. Would the rad be partially blocked hindering flow, you mightn't of noticed it in the colder weather.
Is there antifreeze/coolant in the rad.
Im no expert so i could be way off but just a thought.

Hi, I'm looking for a bit of advice, im planning on putting 13x7 wheels under my mini and fitting sportspack arches but i want it to look low so that the wheels fill the arches, so i was thinking if i modified the arches so that they sit lower on the body it would give the appearance that the suspen...

If you get really stuck you could order from minisport or minispares or someone along thoses lines, couriers costs are what would get you but if you had to get a few more bits it mightnt be too bad.

I was thinking of getting a pencil grinder to do the same job, would probally be a bit quicker than a dremel , would be handy for porting the head too.

So i wont have to worry about emmisions, but other than that is there anything i should watch out for, like upgrading suspension or brakes. Also what about flip fronts, im not fitting one myself but just wondered whats the story with them. I just rang carole nash and they said id have to be over 23 ...
