300-400 for a replacement scuttle sounds quite good to me as long as its a genuine panel. I got mine done and was charged about 200 labour only. I had to provide the scuttle and I think it was about 100 sterling.

Carb looks ok nothing a good clean and a rebuild kit won't sort. I got a couple of needles in the week so we will see what sort of power she's got when we hit the dyno. Quick update, MTM 2012 was the deadline.....missed oops. Engine in last night so I'm getting there. Few pics on the build so far
