Hi all, Does anybody have any experience in importing a vintige mini from the UK this year with Brexit. I’m looking at a 1980 project car which will need a lot of work. according to the revenue the car is worth €10000 and I would have to pay 23% VAT. €2300. They don’t seem to take into consideration...

Sold it within 2 weeks of putting on donedeal. The guy who bought it had already bought a 1.8 to put into it and make it a full track day car.

Insurance policy, massive increase
I have just received notification of the renewal of my insurance and shocked at the increase. I have a multi car policy with AXA with 2 cars on it. Last year if was €239 and now it's €359. Over 50% increase. Can anybody give me suggestions of other insurances companies that do vintage multi policies...

Check there is power on the battery side on the fuses and then the other side. Everything can look fine but still not work.

I got my car fully resprayed a couple of years ago in 2K, with some over the leftover I got Vinny Byrne , Kylemore Road, Dublin to put It into 2K spray cans. The only problem with the cans is that once the hardner is release into the paint it has to be used withing 1-2 days. The rest of the paint I ...

Finally installed 1.5Lt Swirl pot in my VTec Mini. Last year was a real pain at Mondello track days. After long left hand bends all the fuel would go to one side of the tank (Mini Pickup/Van fuel tank) so when I put my foot down on the exit there was a serious lack of power and had to splutter along...
