Re: Do i, don't i
i actualy think thats a fair enough price considering and never expect to get the money out of any car you put into it so its a matter of love and apreciation... a mini fan who can will restore a car regardless of cost unless they haven't got the money or know-how which in that case the car should b...

Re: My Mini Collection
nice collection of mini's, imo it would be a waste of an origional mini to break it because of rust... there are far too many being broke as it is.... and thats from a person who doesn't like mpi's

Re: mini from ebay
if you paid through invoice then you can open a dispute with paypal saying the car wasn't as described and put you case to them, no guarantee though. if you can, bring a camera or similar incase you'll need photo's to back up a claim.

Re: mini from ebay

when your looking at the block from the front as it would sit in a mini the stamp should be infront of piston no1 (1st piston from rad) but if the block has been skimmed at all the numbers will not be present...

Re: mkII steering rack
it was on the likes of theminiforum and turbominis etc where some who have fitted quickracks in the past quickly reverted back to standard racks due to handling issues. thats what i came across when i was looking into them but never used 1 but i'll have a bit of a search again...

their areocatches, come in lockable and non-lockable, any good modified car shop should have them and maybe car suplies shop. the likes of deemon-tweeks online would stock them too.
