Yeah mine was doing the exact same thing. you can still drive it just pump at the clutch a few times and it should get into gear. then as your sitting at the lights just pump at it again. I managed to get around for 2 weeks doing that. The bad news is your going to have to get a new slave cylinder. ...

The clutch on my 88 austin is going i think. A few days ago i noticed that every so often she wouldnt get in gear first time. then today it started getting more frequent. It has now gotten to the stage that when i have it in gear and the clutch held in at the lights it cuts out. Does anyone know any...

What time does it start and end? (ish)

I have the same problem i think. It is coming from behind the passenger side front wheel. Its just a rattle i would imagine something is loose around the brake housing or something. I have been meaning to jack it up and have a look. When i do ill tell you what mine is.
