Is the immobiliser not tied into the ECU which will not allow starting unless it is deactivated?? When my arlam is on or it self arms it will not allow the engine to start.

That would be great!! If there is anybody willing to undertake to meet us at the ferry it would be great to get some shots as we all roll down the ramp!! Then a big group photo of us all returned safe and mechanically sound (hopefully)!!!!!!

Unhooking the battery for a while usually does the trick. If you need to get at it the alarm module is a small black box with two large multi cable connectors going into it. Its in the inside of the car screwed to the bulkhead just uder and too the left of the ash tray

Try disconnect the battery leave 10mins and reconnect......works for me when mine locks up like that
