Re: Problem that I would like help with
Is it definately water. If your clutch master cylinder is leaking it will drop a bit of fluid down behind the pedals and that will roll down onto the floor.

Re: Sportspack arch
Ya they are 13 x 7s. I was just looking there now and it looks like the wheel is slightly sticking out in the top compared to the bottom. Should it not be tucked in on the top and out in the bottom. I wont be too familiar with geometry.

Re: Sportspack arch
No i didnt stretch the archs too much. I lined them up with the indicator, sill/step joint and the front bumper and i drilled the holes then. I downloaded the template from the minispares website and when i put it on the car, the holes on the template were nowhere near the holes on the archs so i ju...

Re: Sportspack arch
The front panel has been trimmed as well. The original body i.e. wings, front panel, etc, are not stopping the wheels from turning atall. Its the arch that is the problem. If the wheel is pointed straight ahead and you look at it from the side of the car, it appears to be more towards the front of t...

Re: Sportspack arch
Ya i have the wings cut back. I have plenty clearance wing wise but i cant even turn the wheels in under the sportspack archs. They are getting caught in the front of the fibreglass arch after turning the steering wheel a small bit. The archs were trimmed back when i bought them. Thats the way they ...

Handbrake lever dust covers
Just wondering if anybody knows how much attention the nct pays to the dust covers that cover the gap where the handbrake lever goes into the drum.I replaced mine about 7 months ago and they have perished already. They have cracked in a few places. Would the nct have an issue with this.

Re: poly bush kit ?
I got a set from North west minis through ebay . This is their website http://www.northwestminis.co.uk/ They are orange bushs. North west minis were a great crowd to deal with and the bushs arrived a few days after i paid for them.
Underbody
Hi lads. Im just wondering what people are using underneath their mini to seal it. I have it all cleaned down and im not sure whether to use lowe anti rust primer or else red oxide. I will be putting on a coating of schutz over the primer as well.

Painting a block
I want to freshen up my engine so i have decided to paint the block. Im just wondering what people on here have used. Would aerosol cans from a motor factors do or is there other alternatives. Also, if aerosols are sufficient, would they need to be high temp or would the normal stuff do. Cheers.

Re: Cleaning up a subframe
I ended up using "LOWE". Its a machinery paint and seems to be good stuff.
Re: Doors
Thanks lads.Much appreciated. I think i might put up a wanted add as it would prob cost more in the long run to repair the doors i have.
Doors
Just a quick question about mk3 doors. The door skin on the drivers side of my mini is completely rotten and the frame has started to rust. Also, the passenger side door skin is starting to rust around the edges of the skin where it is folded onto the frame. Would i be better off buying two good sec...

Re: Body panels
Sound out. I rang them today and they are very helpful alright and very reasonably priced too. Next job now is to place an order and go hatchet with the grinder :D Does anyone know if there is much work involved in replacing an outer sill.Is it as simple as drilling out the spot welds and pulling it...

Body panels
Hi lads. I recently bought a 1989 mini city and i have completely stripped it to a bare shell. I am now in the process of cutting out the rust. I am just wondering where is the best place to buy panels. I need a scuttle panel, two sills and i also need the bottom piece of the front panel (if its pos...
