The guage is the standard smiths guage in the 3 clock centre dash with the C N H markings on it. When at idle the needle sits just over 3/4 way towards H

The only hoses that haven't been changed are the bottom and top hose. The hoses going into and out of the matrix were replaced with the matrix. I have been wrecking my head all day and can't find the problem.
I had thought of a 82 deg thermostat but couldnt see this helping either problem

Hi guys I've got a mini with an 88deg thermostat fitted which when left ideling for 15mins or so will creep very close to the "H" on the temp gauge. The ignition timing is set to 10deg btdc and the fueling seems to be spot on. The rad cap is a 13lbs one and the heater matrix has just been ...

i just got round to fitting mine there last weekend with the help of my dads mate we started by fitting the headlining to the rods (cant remember the colour order off the top of my head) fit to the car, center the headlining and roll the rods up get a few people to help you pull the headlining tight...

you can normally get away with an unskimmed 1275 head running the standard cam. always beat to trial fit and make sure nothing hits. I.e valves and pistons if your planning on changing the cam then you will have to pocket the block to allow clearebce for tue exhaust valves. if you have a copy of min...

what do you guys recommend for added soundproofing? extra stick on sheets similar to the standard soundproofing or the stuff that is used for audio installs (dynamat) however it seems a tad on the expensive side

headlining tips?
ive just got my mini back from the painters and will be fitting the headling...has anyone any tips on putting it in? :) *the headlining i have is black, along with black carpets, black door cards...black parcel shelf...you get the idea lol does anyone else thinkthis will be a tad on the 'dull' side?...
