Update on this too! Plans have changed on the colour scheme of this car. In the last 6 months too many red/black mini have popped up. Small update.
Got new bumpers last week and i said id try and future rust proof these ones i masked of the front of them and sprayed under seal on the underside. I dont know will it slow it down but theres only one way to find out.

Litres of petrol = 120.09

MPG = 37.99

There is a quater of a tank left so numbers would be a little out

I dont know about any of ye but that mpg seems very high for a bale on the roof ad averageing 60-70 on the second half

Iv filled the oil fillter with oil, that primes that right ?
Iv point new points, dizy cap, leads, plugs, oil, coolant, clucth fluid, carb oil

Cheack all earth wires are earthing properaly
Cheak is the battery heathy at your local top part theyve a yoke to test it
Could be worn or lose fan belt
Or your altenator could be gone and referb or new one
