So heres the story! Bought a 1275 which needs to be rebored. thats fine i think i will go 1293 because im after a reliable set up for road use. A while back i purchased a kent 266 cam.. The question i want to ask is this cam suitable for what im after which is just some good torque and nice to drive...

Yes you can buy 1293 pistons as a set . Mini spares part no P2151-20 or 2153-20 .

Well! So heres the story.. 1275cc engine.. sat outside a long while.. got it on the chaep.. head gasket gone.. full of water.. slight surface rust in the cylinders... Rebuild! So what i want to know is since there is surface rust on the cylinder will i have to bore it out?.. or would just cleaning i...

Thanks Billy much appreciated! It was on hold for a while now but back in action now.. By any chance you know much about removing the flywheel on the engine.. Im using the puller tool and everything but she wont budge.. Would applying a small bit f heat to the shaft be a bad thing to do..?
