Thanks both. You can see in the video below where it is loose

It may be something easier than replacing the bracket completely

Loose steering after attempted theft
Hi all, As the title suggests, car was attempted stolen but thankfully I had a pedal to wheel lock. Unfortunately this has caused a severe looseness in the steering. From what I can see it is the "clasp" that hangs down from below the dash board at the very top to the steering column. I as...

Re: Tax question
You'll still need to pay tax even over 40 years old. I think they need it taxed before you can change class (eg to vintage)

Re: Fog light switch for headlights
Thanks for that. I'll check out the buzzer option.
I don't have a normal dash, it's a motorbike dash so is always on when ignition is on, regardless of lights!

Fog light switch for headlights
Hi all,
I'm forever leaving my lights on. I have a fog light switch that lights up, but have no fog lights. Is it possible to just swap that switch to the headlight switch, so when my headlights are on, I'll have a lit up button (and physically see my lights are still on when inside)?
Thanks

Re: SEAT SLIDE RAILS
I'll take them off you, depending on how I can get them (thanks Covid!) Are you able to post at my cost? If not, I can transfer over the payment and get them when we are allowed travel again!

Engine Braking
Hey all, quick question. The engine braking on my GT seems too excessive. In low speeds taking my foot off off the pedal actually feels like I've hit something it is that hard and jolts stop nearly.
Any way I can fix this quickly or is it something more?
Thanks

I'm assuming the "glamping" is seperate to the club? I've booked a "bellepod", so I assume that's in a seperate location?

Re: Ferry prices for any one wishing to travel to IMM 2019
Further update, the IMM discount pretty much gives you 50% off the actual ferry prices. I purchased mine today, however used Tesco vouchers instead. €200 Tesco vouchers covered the €800 travel cost for me. If I wouldve used the discount code about, it wouldve been €360. If i used neither discount no...

We were 100% going with both cars as of yesterday. However I my daughter has been invited to an overseas show in China, so it's not dropped to about 50% going

Re: Ferry prices for any one wishing to travel to IMM 2019
Just an update on this. You can use your Tesco clubcard points towards the cost, and you get triple value. IE: €100 worth of Tesco vouchers is worth €300 on the ferry.

Thanks for that. There's no visible break that I can see, so I need to have a good proper look. Might just "fill" in the edges anyway

Hi all,
My rear demisters only has 2 horizontal bars working. Any suggestions on how to fix? Is the conductive paint worth getting?
Thanks

I agree I pop on to see what's new and there's very little. I haven't posted much as I'm working on a different project at the minute (just finished a full rebuild of a clubman). Will get back to posting soon!

Mini cut out
Hi all, My 1275GT decided to die today. It hasn't been started in about 2 months and hasn't been ran since last year. It started fine but died after about 5/10 minutes. I took the fuel line off at the carb and tried starting and fuel came out (so this seems ok). I changed all the spark plugs and sti...
