Please look at my nuts !

I have a 1990 Checkmate that came new on Minilite style wheels. The problem I have is with the wheel nuts. The wheel brace dosnt fit them. They are 16.5mm across the flats. Do these look like the correct original nuts or have they been replaced at some stage please. http://i247.photobucket.com/album...

I have no problem with a reshell job when every thing off the old car goes onto the new but correct Mk shell. But I go mad when someone just changes the number plates :x

Sorry to hear of the damage. I would go talk to the parents anyway and tell them you will be giving them the repair bill. Their kids are their responsability.
