Re: Our trip to Ireland

Hey, on this website you also can find very cheap hotels. http://www.booking.com/ In Waterford you can check the Marina Hotel, it should have reasonable prices. for Dublin, it really depends where in Dublin they want to stay, and how long they want to stay. The Bewleys out on the N7 has rooms for 69...

Re: ideas on juicin up my 1litre to give bit more shoe??

As far as i know the bolt on modifications you can do on the 1 litre engine are: stage 1 exhaust, LCB and K&N filter (20% power increase), and changing the cylinder head with a ported and better flowed 12g295 from a 998 cooper s (+6 hp). This without spending too much money. If you can and want ...

Re: petrol gauge trouble

If it is not a wiring problem you can get the petrol tank sensor and the gasket from ebay for 15quid, the installation is extremely simple, there is only one way it would go in, it took me 15 min and I never saw one before.
good luck

Re: Angel eyes

Hi guys, update on the angel eyes: I got them from Jonspeed, put them on, it's straight forward, the only thing is that you have to cut 2 edges of the metal bowl to fit the 2 sidelights. They come with blue green and red rubber tubes to have the side light beam in Colour, but I wouldn't bother, you ...

10" disk brake assembly

Hi guys, I received yesterday my "new" 10" disk brake assembly to replace the drum brakes. Basically reconditioned hubs and driveshafts with new calipers, disks, dirve flanges, cv joints and ball joints, all assembled. I had a quick look at it and I noticed two things, one drive shaft...

Re: A bit of a fine tune?

As far a i know the spi was introduced in 1992 and the mpi only late in 1998, so yours it's definitely an spi. since you have to put in a new exhaust you could put in a stage 1 kit, so that you get better flow of gases out of the engine. check with a specialilst about the exhaust, you ca have small ...

Re: Angel eyes

I'm not disagreeing for the sake of disagreeing, but angel eyes that you can put on your mini are usually not E marked, which means that they are not legal in EU, and the car will not pass the NCT. Now, the fact that the gards accept them and don't give you a ticket is a different story. The other t...

Re: On Patricia Storgen behalf - insurance

She can try Carol Nash as well, got it there for 200 euro. http://www.carolenash.com/classic-car-insurance/
Axa requires that you have another ca insured for at least 1 years or they will not insure you with the classic. Hibernian has a similar policy.
