Re: Need Some Help

Cheers Bert will call you soon,

Thanks woody, I've been trying to sort this for quite some time now :( and I've put lots of fresh fuel in everytime.

It's very difficult to pinpoint the problem because nearly everything has been replaced.

I lost the 3 bolts that thread into the flywheel for the puller, did a search online to find the sizes and I can only find the center bolt size. It's a verto so I assume they are metric?? Anybody know the size and the thread type??? Thanks

Re: mini clubman estate

I've been thinking about doing that to my project aswell, I think it looks good and if put on by an expert will last a few years but the only problem with a vinyl wrap on a mini is rust if the body has not been prepared properly then a panel starts to rust the vinyl will bubble up and that area will...

Re: Steering rack??

Bought one a while back, mini Sport was the cheapest I could find at £46.98, but I find it can take a couple of weeks to receive stuff from them, or perhaps I was just unlucky. No minisport are just useless I ordered a clutch kit from them and I was waiting 5 weeks after countless phonecalls and em...

Re: Another clutch problem

I put the engine back together so it wasn't done by a professional I guess the problem must be those trust washers :( I must have put it back in the wrong way round or something. I should have just given you that bloody engine in the first place paul

Re: Another clutch problem

Yea it said the throw out adjustment should be 6.5mm from the clutch housing and that's what I have it at, maybe I should try play around with the adjustments because I can't think of anything else wrong ??

Re: Another clutch problem

Hi macker thanks for the reply it's a brand new clutch kit got a new release bearing aswell, it's a turbo clutch not just a standard verto clutch and it's pretty much the first clutch I've ever had to change in my life. It must be a much heavier clutch the pedal is no easy job to press and the secon...

Hi davey I remember Reading on another forum if the housings your swopping are both A or A+ it should be ok but one of the lads on here would know for sure. I did the exact same damage as you but not as severe as for buying one somerford mini should have them, doubt they'd be cheap though
