Is it a Fiat 500.... I might get banned from here for saying this but I love them little 500s especially those new ones i think Fiat done a much better job than Bmw and Volkswagen in bringing back these cool retro cars .

Is it not only if the steel is rotten that it would need to be chopped out... Im defo not going to be chopping anythin its only bubbles comin through etc I thought i could just sand it back treat the area fill if need be prime it spray it with a can and prime it etc ?

No the car is'nt the main driver it's only a weekend fun car and its not bad rust I dont think I'm sure I'll find more like you said though. But for the bubbles and surface rust I was just gonna sand back to bear metal wire brush it prime it and spray it with a can of spray no welding or compressors...

quick switch question
I have a 92 cooper on the inside it has 4 switches lights, hazards, window demister but whats the 4th one beside the choke ? I pressed it today for the craic but it only lights up if i hold the switch down it doesnt stay on and couldnt figure out what it does

Thanks a mill I gave fbd a call there this morning and they will insure me on just regular insurance for third party only 470 and tpft for 520 so thats not bad at all in my eyes, best I've found by a good bit so it looks like fbd for me and prob have to classic insure it next year if i get it, it wi...

Probably a difficult one to answer but here goes I viewed a 96 mini cooper last weekend but its a uk import and has the usual mini rust here and there I've seen a lot worse there is no holes or anything like that just little patches here and there like under lights and side of bonnet its just paint ...

Managed to get through to vrt in santry there and they said 1080 so ill have to knock that on the head they value it at 4250 and charge 24 percent of that how come I can get it online for 480 though and why do they not recognise rover mini ? The search continues for my mini

Hi lads Im thinking of buying a 96 mini I seen online it says its a cooper and has 80k miles on it but its a N.I reg and when i enter the details of austin mini cooper (cos there is no rover mini on the vrt website) it comes up vrt 480 is this right as it seems cheap and have heard of horror stories...
