Re: IMOC
Forums are a place for discussion And what sort of discussion are you expecting to have when you come to a place called IrishMinis you muppet. There is no reason for you to make such a big fuss leaving and blaming someone for you leaving is just ridiculess especially when your blaming some like Bil...

IMOC
Let it be known that it is the fault of Billy that I am leaving the forum and I know that there are others who are also leaving. There's no harm in the poll I posted which has been deleted. Forums are a place for discussion and it has been made clear to me that this forum does not cater for non-memb...

Re: That old chesnut...
I think that the paid members have a right over the management and don't get me wrong, I'd much rather a managed site over a free for all. But you have your members only section and as Gareth says it's not very busy. I also think your point about non members profitting is moot. It works both ways. T...

Re: That old chesnut...
Kenneth, that kind of forum talk is what won't help this situation. There's no point in snapping at each other, it just leads to grudges.Kenneth Murphy wrote:Kenny, get off the stage.

Re: That old chesnut...
I agree Paul. Billy - if you can explain to me why I would bother come to a meeting of members when in 21 posts on this forum I have been met with so much resistance. Have a thread like the removed after 24 hours is a) not long enough for anyone who might have spotted it to mention they saw it and b...

Re: That old chesnut...
To be honest, I know I posted in the wrong section so I have no issues with it being moved, but deleted? Seriously! I have been a forum member for a long time and I pop in and out and read things from time to time and it has been a great resource for me. I have however been pushed away from joining ...

Re: 1979 Mini Clubman
Haven't updated this in a while so here goes. Got myself a brand new HIF44 with everything on it so I'm going to modify the butterfly valve as the throttle cable plate is on one side and the catch is on the other. Car is going to head to someone with time who can sort out the mounts and steadys and ...

Re: Which Fuel Pump?
Thanks Eamon. That's pretty much the feeling I've been getting from others too, so I think the mechanical one will do.

Re: 1979 Mini Clubman
*Update* Today I painted the cowling with 10 coats of Hammerite Smooth Black. I also finished painting the engine and painted the starter, the wiper motor and the gearbox. All I need to do now I put the crank oil seal in and then I can pop in my clutch and flywheel and get the bell housing on. http:...

Sweet
Thank you. I have just got a cowling and rad bracket there yesterday, so it's off to a parts cleaner for me and get them painted.

1979 Mini Clubman
So, where do I start. This is a project I've had on the go for a long enough time. Too long if I'm honest. The car was originally bought by my Mother in '79 and she drove the little beauty until 1990/1991. Along it's life it had a few hiccups, nothing serious though. The worst of it was the original...
