Bonjour de France!

Here for a few weeks exploring mostly Normandy, Franche-compte then on to switzerland and Germany before doing the war time beaches on the return leg.

Have spotted 3 Minis so far:One1 I'll post on Facebook shortly as it was parked up. the other 2 were while I was driving.

(In McDonalds, Besancon for free wifi) I was really sad to hear by text the news of Mike's passing earlier in the week. He certainly was a gentleman and always had time for a chat anytime I met him. He was also an active member of the IVVCC so I got to meet him a few times a year between both club's...

I know there are still another couple of weeks before the camping weekend but as I won't be around for a few weeks, I'd just like to wish everyone one involved (from participants to those who are working hard behind the scenes) a fantastic time. Hopefully, the weather will pick up again like it was ...

The social evenings are a nice way to catch up with members past and present.
I'm working until 9pm so will see how things go if I can make it our or not.

Great turn out on The Curragh today helped in no small part by the fantastic weather.
Lots of games, kites flying and BBQ's sizzling plus one of the clubs youngest members, Dillon Egan, has promised to organise a club run in the future

The most common breakdown that people really needed help for going to this years IMM was wheel bearings, there were a good few looking for assistance on that one.
