Latest project, wouldn`t fit in my Volvo estate so I had to improvise,.multi use mini.i love it

I SO WANT ONE OF THOSE,THEY`RE MENTAL

Running a little hot ,been told to take out thermostat.How will it affect normal running of the car.Any suggestions welcome

I`m in kildare,think we`re looking at about 2.50euro per litre(incl vat),trying to get price down more,was buying from halfords at nearly 25euro for 5 litre`s.

I have started buying 20w50 oil from maxol,can get 20ltr,60ltr or 200ltr drums.Anyone interested just let me know!

I`m looking for somebody to setup the timing/carbs on my clubby ,she`s on twin 1"1/4 SU`s, 1.5:1 roller rockers,electric ignition and 3-2-1 manifold.
Any suggestion`s welcome.

Made it back to naas in one piece thank god.Was a fantastic day great to meet everyone from the club,special thanks to Billy for his great hospitality.Looking forward to the next outing.

You can count me in for this one.Going to make a weekend of it.Leaving naas on saturday for fermoy,will be camping out there till tuesday. First big run since I finished the build,wish me luck

Didn`t manage to get out of the driveway today,lots of snow today in punchestown .Would have been cruel to bring the clubby out in it.Hope to make it to cork for paddy`s day tho.Anyone from kildare area heading down?

Count me in,this`ll be my first outing after the built,have a small problem tho,I only have a 2 gallon fuel tank.Wi;; still go for the fun of it and to see all the mini`s from yhe club.Hope the rain holds off.

Thinking of fitting nitros kit,wondering what mod`s have to be done to engine.i.e different plugs,head,etc.Any help or suggestions would be welcome!

Was given a set for a 1275cc, P+T ENGINEERING are making up a new bush for me,should be back on track soon

Think I have it sorted,the bush on the top drop gear is the wrong size 2.5 mm bigger than the original bush,moving around on the shaft,cant believe I missed it.

It fits on the old one about the same as the new one.Moves pretty free on it too. My head is melted with this.HOLDING UP THE BUILD

Have a new clucth kit,lever,slave+master cylinder and plunger.Its a non-verto clutch.

Just after fitting straight-cut drop gears from mini sport,after fitting new clutch found that it would not work properly because the splines on the gears were not the correct profile :evil: :evil: ,3 hours work with valve grinding paste and new disc,just to get it to move freely.Beware of MINI SPOR...
