Billy
There are quite a few forums promoting the "Save Donnington Campaign"
Shame it's come to this as its a fantastic circuit and should be saved.

Re: Cost of ferrys to Ireland from England for the MTM
Yes I would agree with Billy.
I did it last year using the tesco vouchers and in total my ferries cost me around £50 in vouchers, that included a cabin on the return leg.

Re: Ooops
Ah right
Well the Old GT was rear ended and the insurance company have written it off.
The current owner is trying to buy it back to repair or salvage.
Shame.

Re: going going....gone
Guys
As I said in my original post, I would love to come across for the next MTM if only to say hello.
And as for the Donegal to Dublin sprint I have to say it was one of the most memorable experiences I have ever encountered in my mini.
Keep the shiny side up.

Gents If I may have a word on the telephone number point, I will admit Im not an IMOC member and maybe Im speaking out of turn but I dont think its wise to be posting your telephone number on a public website. Re: banded wheels????
Banded steel wheels are steel wheels that are cut around the circumference usually in the middle of the wheel and a "band" of steel is then cut and welded between the two halves of the wheel. You should then be left with a wider steel wheel using the standard fitting. It was done years ago...

Was your Mini parked at the Crescent shopping centre on Sautrday?
I passed in my Vectra and just caught a glimpse of a mini side walk in the car park.
I would have stopped but I was on a mission to get to my sisters.

Seeing your old car on the road
I have recently sold my GT and the lad who bought it came to collect some other bits I had for sale and arrived in my old mini. I must say its a weird feeling when someone else does something to "YOUR" car. He has changed the look by removing all the stickers (taking some of the top coat o...

Keith Just looked at your pics, some nice ones there. Your car of the show is owned by Ben the Chairman of the Crewes Missiles club. It was on the rolling road with mine a few weeks back and made around 80bhp at the wheels. Did you hear it running? it sounds awesome. I have a video of us on the rolle...

Re: someone help
If you have fuel and a spark its more than likely a timing problem, leads on the wrong way would cause this. Simple thing to get wrong and easy to set right, set your engine at top dead centre on No1 cylinder(nearest the radiator) making sure its on the compression stroke as( it rises to the top on t...

Re: Directions from Holyhead to Cofton Park - IMM2009
Guys If your are taking the A5 route then the roads are really mini type roads even in the dark, I did it when I returned from MTM just for the sake of it. You will be able to refuel in Bulith Wells on route to Birmingham. On the Licence front make sure your covered for driving and not using a provi...
