Re: Restoration - Dublin

Unless you think you can get her and her passengers to wear a helmet at all times while driving the car i really wouldn't put a full cage in. Smashing your head against a 4 inch cds steel bar in an impact (even at slow speed) could have some serious consequences. I'd get a safety devices fia spec re...

wouldnt be expensive to get started if you have parts lying round, lots of autotest cars started out as rolled road cars. Mine did!

Driveshafts, which are strongest?

We used to run standard shafts but we found them to weak and failures started to become commonplace when the cars started to use ATB diffs and 1430 engines. We have changed to hardened stee...

We sent the car up to Castlederg Mini and autotest specialist Ken Irwin and he did a stunning job and the car was straight o...

Top Gear Indian Christmas Special

I see on topgear.com that they have filmed a special in india. The idea of the trip is that they wanted to promote (in their own special way) trade links with india. They have a bit of a better budget this time £7k to spend on a car to be exact. Clarkson got himself a jag xjs 4.0l May gets himself a...
