Re: 1995 Mini Mayfair (Lucky Stud)
That sucks stan, it does look repairable though providing its only panel damage and shouldnt cost too much if you can find someone to help you repair it. I have a front bumper that I dont need so you can have it. If you can change the front tires at least to a539 yokos they are much better for braki...

Re: Car cutting out
Try the crank position sensor, if the ecu doesn't know where the engine is in relation to top dead centre, it wont trigger the igintion coil to fire a spark.

Re: diff question??
I have the 52mm throttle body on my car and to be honest it made no difference besides making the idle smoother. It would be benefical on a tuned engine with a modified cylinder head and cam.
I think changing the diff to 3.1 would make the biggest difference as the 2.7 is just too long

Re: Anyone removed GB from their Mini's rear?
If they are factory fitted like mine were, they are just stuck on with a black sticky foam that can be gently pulled off, any residue can be washed off. Are ya worried about vandalism?, thats why mine are gone

Re: suspension set up
I have gaz adjustables and they are set to 3 on the front and 1 on the back. They used to be 6 on the front and 2 on the back and that was still a good compromise. I believe the dampers should be harder at the front than at the back?

Re: Hilos
I have minispares HI LOWS on my car and the spanner size is 30 mm you need two and it aint easy yo do :x Just use a large adjustable. That's what I did when I put HiLos on mine. Thanks for that, I got a 30mm spanner and a less bulky adjustable spanner and managed to do it although it took ages
