I ran a bead of PU (Polyurethane) Sealant around the gutter of my estate and spread it with my finger it over paints without issue and doesn't shrink or react to paint make sure you wear gloves (only comes off when your skin does if you let it dry) and a small bead is plenty and wipe off excess with...

Thanks lads seems to be working out the same as ordering from mini spares, I have decided to get the Yokohama a008 best price i could find in Ireland is from http://www.murraymotorsport.com/product ... -a008-tyre works out cheaper than the rest for a set

Quick question just got a 71 clubman and want to put some fresh rubber on the wheels where does everyone get 10" tyres from or is it best to just order from Minispares I have access to a tyre changer so don't mind fitting them myself?

Have a chat with Trevor in reactive welding he should be able to sort you out he has fixed my doors rebuilt the lower frame and everything his prices are very reasonable too

again sorry for the slow progress been preocupied with the other mini any had trevor from reactive welding over today he gave it a good once over and told me what he can fix and what will need panels anyway he can repair the rear door and reskin the lower doors also fix a small hole in the spare tyr...

Sorry for the lack of updates, but changed a few panels picked up some replacement doors and patched up few panels and a lot of prep work its in primer, http://i.imgur.com/mpCxTEi.jpg?1 Still a bit to do but making progress should the get all the paint on next week then put it back together tidy up ...

Picked up this last weekend with plans to remove the parts I needed for my clubman full cobra interior and a nice walnut dash deep dish minilites etc but after getting it to my lockup and a good inspection there was a lot of work put into this car new floor panels and all new lights and bright work ...

Stripped the interior and started the rear subframe over the weekend which revealed a bit more rust so basically going to need to replace the fuel tank and a large portion of the boot floor replace the rear valance and patch up some filled points on the quarter panels just to bring it back to all me...

I'm sure itll look fantastic once painted considering the standard of work so far, I plan on repairing all rust rebuild engine or swap for a 1275 if i find a good one and then a full respray and a decent interior if i can find van panels ill replace the side windows with those too

Faur play mate some amount of work done on this if i can get mine done in 4 times the amount of time ill be doing well its really coming together it will be sweet when its done

Cheers mate I love it I see it was yours previously, i just need to get the body solid i hope to have it brand new once im finished I have all the panels in for it new floors, lower quarter panels A panels might do the wings and rebuild the engine, just need to get a good sized compressor and a spit...

1980 Clubman Estate
