Thanks for the info, unfortunately the car is 16 yrs old and doesnt qualify for the classic insurance, so best he could find was 790 third party or 880 fully comp.
Anyone any ideas?? Has anyone got insured with the Irish Vintage Engine and Tractor assoc??

Hey,
Been trying the number on the iveta website but never get an answer or a reply, internet searches bring back quotes of €400 plus!! It will be used as a second car so miles will be low i have a full clean license and im over 30, anyone know of anywhere I can get a reasonable quote?

Is it a set price for the insurance or do the quotes vary? I am over 25
with another policy in my own name etc so i should qualify....

Water also seems to be getting in from one of the windscreen washer jets, this needs to be resealed, anyone ever comes across this??

Floors
Hello, Mini floors could do you some care, what are the best products to use on them to seal them and where can I get them? How do you know if they should be replaced or not?? i also need some rubber seals for the engine bay are these just generic ones or should i get ones specific for minis? Thanks

Hello, had a chance to take a good look yesterday with a hose etc, seems to be a rubber seal was cut and not in place correctly where the cable for the aerial is therefore water is runnning down the cable and into the car, also there are a number of holes in the engine bay (for additional cables??) ...

hello, want to get started on tidying up my mini, would like to know where I can source mini interiors carpets etc and also anywhere i could get the seats covered in the Cork area?Any help in sourcing would be great thanks

Hello, I have a leak in my Mini, its hard to locate where the water is getting in but the rubber on the front windscreen has a small gap, water is only getting in when the car is driven also, can any recommend a good mini mechanic in the Cork area.
