Thanks wzd, My 9FD SAH engine also has this 1000 plate on the back of the block, now i'm confused :-) was the 1000 plate only for 997 H-comp engines, or was it on the 998 cooper engines also ? For this project, I just want it as original as possible the tuned mini will be later :-) Thanks again for ...

Thanks DaveC (same DaveC as ipc?) will check it out. Thanks Billy, I'm gonna get that stuff out aswell, but I think I really need to find the chassis numbers first, 'cause if I dont have that, I'll not go to the bother of making 110% original, and just get her as close as I can. Thanks for that, I was specifically looking for the 9F numbers, but cant find anything, and its collection only, so its a decent trip over! I never knew there was a 997S, must look into this more. Or did you mean the H for later numbers became the 1070S ? Thanks for your help, much appreciated, -Roy

Thanks 850, I hear what your saying, but i'm one of those folks that like to do something absolutley correct, and if i stuck with the 998, (and I prolly will) it will just bug me not being able to have a genuine original. however, If I cant find the chassis numbers, or they dont match, then I wont c...
