Ok checking funds I can't really afford a whole new gearbox, so does anyone have one or know where I can get a gearbox casing for a rod change system. I don't need the gears all i need is the casing, but will consider a whole gearbox!

been in thailand for two months so my sister had the car, she has no idea what i'm on about and is denying the lot!

it could be welded but i was thinking of getting a whole new box anyway with new gears.

any ideas on a mechanic for me?

ok guys so having recieved a new job offer i've decided to keep the mini, only problem is she needs alot of work done asap well before the 8th of september! Does anyone know if any of their mechanics (hopefully in munster) would be able to sort me out, i need both body and engine work to be complete...

Well as many of ye know, i got my new mini on thursday! Unfortunatley last nite someone ran into the back of it, damaged the boot and the bumper. The parts are not an issue, my major problem is the paint, its a limited edition volcano orange, and as rover have now gone under i was wondering how hard...

as i've already said i've jus got a mini project, and it needs new sills both inner and outter, a rear arch and probably a front end. where is the best place in cork for this to be done, i dont really need a speedy job either

well i don't know if any of ye remember me cos i've been gone for a long while from the mini scene,

but i'm back wit a bang, jus after sellin the gti so have a 1973 998cc auto as a project and hopefully a newer one on the way for the road, i'll keep ye posted,
