I done the fiesta caliper conversion and was left with the same dilemma, I decided to drill a hole and using a tap a thread the same size as the mini brake pipes... drilled a hole in the same spot as on the mini calipers and got a bolt and stuck it in the original thr...

Re: Can't get engine to run right (metro 1275)
the metro engine is practically the same engine as a normal mini one, mg/rover took over mini and threw the engine into the pre 1989-90 metros. the only difference would be the crank, camshaft and some other parts im not sure about.. so realistically it shouldnt cost much/anything more than getting ...

Re: Can't get engine to run right (metro 1275)
Backfire usally means timing or if extremily lean detonation. I'd get it tuned sooner rather than later before any engine damage. An Aussi Moke would be good for the beech Steve 8) yep actually seen one of them buzzin and around traffic on the freeway, was trying to keep up to follow him and steal ...

Re: Brake servo install,
i put in a brake servo and had exact same problem, it will be in the way there so my advice would be make up some new pipes and move the bias valve to somewhere out of the way like on the inner wing..

Re: SCHUTZ
yea i used about 5 litres of the stuff on my estate..
its good stuff imo , forms a rubbery layer which can withstand stones and stuff and has some some sort of waxoil/underseal mixed in it too..
make sure you use a compressor with the proper spray gun
