''99he20'' those numbers were on plate on engine..?
''wfm were first numbers printed on engine
these were on a plate just above big air pipe on left side ''saxxl''

got drawings for the dash, centre console and boot liner. :-) will be attempting them soon.... cleaned engine block today with degreaser, looks alot better now and surprisingly my engine is '' yellow '' :-/ cleaned several other parts. should i repaint them?? what paint to use? did compression test ...

Yea class idea about the MIM (minis in maynooth)!!!!! but...theres always a but, im not a hundred percent sure whether to sell or keep the mini, theres signs of wear n tear appearing on usual mini spots n not sure can i afford to keep her goin............ :shock:

Hey guys! Is it me or did the forum get quieter>??? anyway, have prob, well up coming prob..... RUST. Theres well...quite a lot of rust at the bottom of my doors. (usual mini spot) I was just wonderin is there any other way of getn rid of the rust n fixin the problem without havin to buy new doors??...

Its in the original mini wiring.. the power to the radio is taken from the green wire under the stalk

I know im posting a lot of messages but like i say i am only a noob on minis and want to learn more about them. :D they'r cool! anyway, showed the car to a mechanic tonite he said it was v nice and in good nick. i mentioned about the kangaroo jump n he reckoned it was due to settings in the carburat...

was tricking around with the wires when engine was off, then turned on engine and lights , and they worked :? must just been loose connection :D

sorry bout late reply but dont worry the mini didnt go on fire yet..
heres the fuses power rating : f10al 250vlac. this doesnt mea much 2 me.....? the wire to the radio doesnt seem 2 b heating up, have had it playing for just over an hour while driving..

it was the original fuse on the minis wiring that was changed not the stereos.. would that still have the same effect over heating the wire or blowing up the stereo??
