Mine was €280 last time, fully comp with agreed value. Can't remember the mileage limit, wasn't restrictive though.

Re: insurance with an engine swap?

I insure mine as a classic with AXA, full vtec conversion declared and they don't have a problem. It is very hard to get it insured as a daily though, much easier as a classic. How will a vtec still be 1.3??? Or are you doing a Swift gti conversion? Glanza turbo conversion? Also, make sure you look ...

Re: Need help!!! Something wrong

Is it a fibreglass front? There are a good few reports on line of guys being sold warped fibreglass fronts that don't fit the best straight from the box.

Re: Project monster :) 11/02/2013 UPDATES!!!

Good work, coming along very quickly which is great. Sometimes this type of project seem to take ages.

What subframe is it and what hubs are you using? Will you be keeping the starmags?

Re: an auto aerial

On a side topic of this, anyone know where you can get one of the aerials that sticks to the inside of the glass? Is it a case of just getting one, mounting it and then hooking it into the back of the radio? Mine currently doesn't have one and I am missing the radio, my ipod tunes are quite old...

I got mine in a place in the city centre, Radiator Services in Rutland Place.

I think it was €40 for the pair though so not the cheapest but the are good.

Re: vtec or hayabusa?????

There is no way you would get it done for €3k unless your mechanic was working for free. There is quite a bit of work involved, more than most people think. This is the reason why you see so many projects for sale in the uk, people take them on not knowing what is fully involved. For example, the wa...

Re: Buillding a v-tec mini

I know this is an old post thats has been brought back up but though I would add to it. I have owned both a watson's vtec mini and one that was built with a minitec subframe. I would choose watson's everytime. They are brilliant and the stability you are left with is top class. There is a reason tha...

Re: Post up some cool Clubbys

Yup, unfortunately I wrote it off in a crash in march last year. It was a beast, 172bhp. i'm looking for another high powered mini, just waiting for the right one to come around. The scrap was sold to a guy in louth who then sold it to his friend. They restore minis very successfully so hopefully we...

It pure rip off but it has to be paid.... On the V5 document does it say that its a cooper sport or j...
