I dont want to be the one to say it but i dont know how they would take the engine conversion for the NCT as there is a good bit of cutting of the inner wings required, I'm lucky i guess as mine is nct exempt.
I'd consider the supercharger or bmw head conversion but the d15 is a fine engine.

Re: Vtec Clubman Help
You'll need some sort of eletric fuel pump the mpi mini one will do but if you using a clubby estate an external inline pump would be preferable, I assume you'll use the civic clocks if so you'll need a speed convertor like healtec to make it read right and something for the fuel sender. Wiring wise...

Re: Vtec Clubman Help
Niave? yes probably but i think if most of us who have done an engine conversion knew what we were getting into then i dont know how many would go through with it. In theory you dont need anything else apart from the bits you have but some things are more difficult than others, How complete is the c...

Re: Vtec Clubman Help
When your finished your build and you look back you'll probably realise that €1600 was the least of your worries, I know I'm not really the person to ask as I've spent enough to buy a very nice new car and its still not really finished. If i could give you some advise it would be to think about what...

Don't know what the prices are going to be like but r&r tyres in Ballincollig had loads of the 10" A032r in stock and were €50 a tyre last time I asked.

Re: Advice with clubman estate
I had a set of the Tenzo seats in a Toyota twincam i had, one of the most uncomfortable seats i'v had in a car the were very wide and as mine were a little worn you could feel the steel frame when you sat on them thats not to say those would be the same but i'd say they are 2 wide for a mini

Re: vtec or hayabusa?????
It would possibly be able to be done for 3k but not if your paying somebody else to do the work, A more sensible option for that money would be the Swift gti engine, What condition is your mini in now? Will the brakes be good for 160bhp+ there are loads of things that you don't even think about when...

Re: honda b16a clubby estate
a word of advice before you fit the frame for the last time change the bolts to the suspension arms to the other way around or if you ever have to take the arms off you will have to remove the frame, also what are your plans for the steering rack? seen as the frame is designed for lhd?
